A shout out to our staff for all their hard work preparing for tonight. We can’t wait to see everyone next week.
Message from Principal Pellerin: Lyman Parents, this is a reminder that Lyman Elementary’s open house will be on Aug 25th. To limit the number of people in the building at time we ask that those with a last name of A-L come between 5-5:30 and those with a last name of M-Z come from 5:30-6. Please make your time in the building and classroom brief. This will allow us to maximize distancing and exposure. We are very excited to see you all!
BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ARE FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS FOR THE ENTIRE 21/22 SCHOOL YEAR!! *Free meals must meet federal and state reimbursable meal requirements in order to be free of charge RSU 57 highly recommends that all households continue to submit a free and reduced application for meal price benefits. Each school district receives federal and state funding based on the percentage of students that are approved for free or reduced meal prices. Miscounting those eligible for this program could harm many educational programs we rely on to serve our students. Regardless of whether your student chooses to receive school meals or not, it is critical that we properly account for all who are eligible. Please contact the RSU 57 School Nutrition Department with any questions 207-247-3221 ext. 2257

Lyman Elementary School had an extremely successful Spirit and donation day! We collected hundreds of non-perishable items to donate to the local food pantry. Thank you to all who helped make this a great success.
The staff at Lyman Elementary School has been working SO hard and it does not go unnoticed! Last week, the PTC made shamrocks and rainbows to decorate the windows in the school. They also provided each staff member with a succulent for their desk. Today the PTC loaded them up with snacks and drinks to help them get through their day! Stay tuned for a few more surprises for the staff this month 😊 A special thanks to Deb Theobald and Sue Gluck who are always willing to help the PTC facilitate these events...we couldn’t do it without them!!
