WHAT'S NEW AT LYMAN ELEMENTARY?
READ A THON
We had so much fun completing the Principal Challenge! Congrats to our students for reading 600hrs in one week!!!! The students had a blast watching us make mud, slime the principal and watching Principal Pellerin get a mud bath on the slipnslide.
We had a blast testing over 40 nests made by our Lyman families. Many survived the fall from the roof. The staff and students had a blast. Thank you to all who participated.
Parker Soule-Parent, 4th grader from Lyman Elementary was one of the highest scoring 100 students in grades four through eight from Maine who qualified to compete in the National Geographic Maine State Bee on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the University of Maine in Farmington. This entertaining and challenging test of geographic knowledge is designed to encourage teachers to include geography in their classrooms, spark student interest in the subject, and increase public awareness about geography. Congratulations to Parker for representing his school and state proudly at this year's bee!
